Willowbrook School and Nursery is a thriving learning community at the very heart of Beacon Heath on the outskirts of Exeter. We work closely with our parents and carers and our Beacon Learning Community partners to provide the best possible learning opportunities for our children.
The school is supported in its work by the School Nusing Team and our Police Community Support Officer (PCSO), who can be seen regularly in school working with us; leading assemblies, talking to the children about healthy living and providing information about staying safe.
Other partnership work is done with our local Secondary Schools: St James, St Luke’s, and St Peter’s. They support us well, hosting sporting events, providing sports’ leaders and working closely around transition time so that all our children have a good start to secondary education.
We also work with trainee teachers from the University of Exeter and Devon Primary SCITT, providing them with experiences that help them to develop into successful professionals.
